The construction of the CW1800-500 wood-fired power plant in Stöcken was carried out in the period from January to June 2019. Since the completion of the plant, the heat produced has been used to supply the base load of the district heating network and for drying purposes on the part of the customer.
The wood-fired power plant has an electrical power output of 500 kW and is the first power plant of the engine type Jenbacher 412 from SYNCRAFT to be in use. The subsidiary SynCraft Automation GmbH not only took care of the automation and the control cabinet construction, but also supported the customer in the automation of the dryer on the construction site. After the project in Hatlerdorf which was implemented in 2014, the power plant in Stöcken is already the second plant realised by SYNCRAFT for the company EnergieWerk IIg GmbH.
