GAS SCRUBBER

This scrubber was developed and implemented as a cooler but also as a separator for ammonia and hydrogen sulphide for a stepped floating bed carburetor. The condensate (mainly water), which is condensed from the product gas, is fed into the circuit and cooled down. Trace substances such as ammonia and hydrogen sulphide are then removed from the product gas to more than 90 % via the column itself. This means that the emission levels of the downstream CHP can be reduced far below the emission limit values.
